　　Before the 1980s, when state-owned manufacturers dominated the world, hotel supplies enterprises were scattered in the planned economic system and assumed the responsibility of providing hotel supplies.

"Before, the mechanical equipment of state-owned factories was basically sold to hotels and food factories, and a small amount was sold to cake shops." Tang Shusong saw the business opportunity, abandoned the position of middle-level cadres, lost the "iron rice bowl", and started from scratch.

　　After 24 years of development, Saisida Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. is now the leading enterprise in the domestic baking machinery industry. The output of more than 3000 ovens per month is beyond the reach of peers.

　　From the 1990s to the beginning of the 21st century, enterprises like Saisida, which produce hotel supplies, like stars all over the Pearl River Delta, did not form a joint force. For many practitioners, "hotel supplies industry" was still an unheard of word at that time, and there was no concept of "industry" at all.

　　In 1998, Xinji Group, the founder of the hotel supplies industry operators, was established in Panyu, Guangzhou. Its market in Shaxi became the place where various miscellaneous categories such as hardware were gathered at that time. "At that time, there was a big hardware market opposite our market." Zhang Hanquan, chairman of Xinji Group, recalled that in order to compete with surrounding commercial real estate, he made a thorough investigation of Xinji's market in Shaxi.

　　"The result shows that 70% of the merchants are engaged in hotel supplies." Zhang Hanquan was very excited by the result. He decided to build Shaxi into a market specializing in hotel supplies. It is not easy to achieve this goal.

　　In order to allow the merchants of non hotel supplies to move out, Xinji proposed a very favorable compensation; At the same time, with very attractive conditions, it has attracted many hotel supplies enterprises to settle in. In 2003, Xinji Shaxi Hotel Supplies Expo City was officially established.
