The hotel supplies wholesale factory teaches you how to distinguish black cotton. Black cotton is an invisible killer in people's daily life. It exists in the quilts, cotton mattresses, cotton clothes, spring soft mattresses, sofas and cushions, plush toys, and other domestic staple fiber products, which pose a great threat to people's health and safety.
What is "black cotton"? According to the relevant national standards, it is very important to distinguish black cotton by whether prohibited raw materials are used in the filler of the product. There must be black cotton when it is used, and there is no black cotton when it is not used.
So what are prohibited raw materials? The following four substances listed in the Measures for the Administration of Prohibited Use of Raw Materials for Flocking Fiber Products are prohibited raw materials: 1. leftovers from fibrous industry; 2. Medical fibrous waste; 3. Regenerated fibrous substances; 4. Waste clothing and waste fiber products.
How to distinguish "black cotton":
First look: check whether the goods are marked, and indicate the complete factory name, factory address, product name, grade, executive standard, content of ingredients, fillers, certificate of conformity, etc.
Second kneading: knead whether the fiber is loose and elastic, whether the distribution is even, whether the normal cotton feels good, soft and elastic, while the black cotton looks impure, rough and inelastic. If the fiber is fluffy, it should be clean fluffy, smooth and elastic, and it should not touch your hands.
Three pulling: "black core cotton" is composed of industrial waste, waste fiber and cotton linter, so the length of the fiber varies. The long fiber in the cotton bundle is a recycled chemical fiber, which has high strength and is not easy to break. The short fiber is the blended cotton linter, which is short in length, only about one centimeter, low in strength, and easy to break.
Four shots: "Black cotton" products have a high impurity content. When purchasing, you can beat the products hard to see if there is a lot of dust.
Fifth, smell: smell whether there is odor. The "black cotton", which is treated by chemical methods such as bleaching with bleaching powder or sulfur whitening after the broken waste clothing and hospital medical fiber waste, smells strange.
